Next Meeting.... Monday, November 8th!

Hi everyone!

Our last meeting was a smashing success, there was a great turn out & I personally came away with a ton of new ideas for web-based marketing! I hope to create a special meeting with a entire workshop devoted to building web presence. Thanks to all who came out!

Summer is flying by & I hope you are all taking advantage of the pockets of sunshine!!

We will be meeting @ Bluebird again next Monday, August 9th, from 12-1:30pm. I hope you will be able to join for some inspired networking!

I have opened the event again to the Biznik community, this seemed to work well last time & already 18 people have signed up to attend! Great!

New format for the group!

I'm changing things up a bit starting next month y'all!

Beginning in July the Bluebird meeting will only occur once per month on the 2nd Monday. I'm going to open up the meetings to Biznik (online networking site) in hopes of generating more interest & bringing in some new people!

The meeting length will be increased to 1.5 hours allowing a little more time for meeting everyone.

Any feedback? I'm happy to hear it! Thanks everyone for your support!!!

Next Meeting!

Hi everyone!

I hope you will be able to come out to Bluebird on May 24th for some inspired networking!

We will be meeting from 12-1 @ Bluebird but... we will be upstairs! So, look for the group there. The upstairs space is more private & conducive to our discussions.

We are grateful to have that space @ Bluebird! Josh, the owner has been so accomodating!

Awesome meeting!

On May 10th we had the pleasure of hearing more about Yolanda Aguirre, psychotherapist's energy work. She spoke to the group about how to use simple energy balancing techniques in our daily lives to help deal with stress & emotions. It was great! We went through a variety of methods & I found the session highly informative & rewarding.

Interesting news on Agave... not as good for you as it might appear.

I am always looking for alternative sweeteners & when I found out about agave a couple years back I thought I had hit the jackpot. However, recently agave has been attacked for being no better than high fructose corn syrup (evil!!), also it is apparently highly processed. Well, what a shame.

Here are some interesting things you might turn to instead:

yacon syrup
coconut sugar
maple syrup
lucuma powder
stevia

Our next meeting will be next Monday, March 1st 12-1pm @ Bluebird Cafe. I hope you will all be able to come! Our agenda will be to do some networking and to chat about the upcoming Spring Health Fair. The time & date for this is set for Sunday, March 28th 1-4pm.

I plan to distribute promotional fliers and postcards next Monday, hopefully everyone will be pleased with how it turned out.

Meeting February 1st!

Hi all!

I hope that you will be able to attend our meeting at Bluebird Cafe on February 1st from 12-1pm. We will be able to pick a date for our upcoming Capitol Hill Health Fair! Dr. Burbidge has arranged for us to use the studio space @ 8Limbs yoga studio on Pike St. which I think will be perfect & awesome!

It seems like this blog is being underutilized thus far... I encourage you all to post information regularly so that it might be a more useful networking tool!
